Thank you for praying for us!
I thought I would write now, as I am really pleased with developments in our ministry here in the UK and would like to share these things with you.
For just over two years our outreach has consisted in part in the planting of a congregation of Jewish and Gentile believers in the middle of Golders Green – England’s most significant Jewish community.
We have now reached an exciting point – we are establishing a constitution and holding our first set of membership classes prior to electing a leadership team. On Saturday, about 20 or more of us sat more-or-less in a circle and discussed the vision and purpose of Beit Sar Shalom (House of the Prince of Peace – Isaiah 9:6). I was moved by the way in which people expressed themselves. The next four weeks, as we hold classes, will be very important. I hope that they will also be very enjoyable. It feels as if we are crossing a threshold and our prayer is that, properly constituted, Beit Sar Shalom will continue to grow as a testimony in our neighbourhood.
I’d like to ask prayer for two people. One is S* who has attended our congregation three times now. He is from a very religious background and is searching. What we want, far more than him finding ‘us’ is him finding Yeshua (Jesus), his Messiah!
Could you please also pray for Deborah? Deborah is trying to finish off her studies but is completely overwhelmed with her final paper and very distressed about it!
May the Lord bless you, and thank you your prayers!
