Visiting Immanuel

Visiting Immanuel

We regularly gather for Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m. We would love the opportunity to meet you. If you have any questions about your visit, or would like to know more about Immanuel, just visit the Welcome Center for more information.

What to Expect on Sunday

Q: What do people wear?

Come as you are. You’ll find people with t-shirts, collared shirts, jeans, jackets, casual wear, ties, and even shorts when it is warm.

Q: Is there childcare?

Nursery at Immanuel provides families with children aged birth to age 5 a safe, fun place for their young ones to stay during Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, and occasionally during other ministries.  A nursing room is also available for mothers with a video feed of the worship service.

Q: What is the service like?

Each service is around 75-90 minutes long. We typically have a short time of welcome and announcements before we start worship.

Q: What is the music like?

We play a mix of hymns and modern worship songs, not for entertainment, but for full congregational participation. Performance isn’t our thing: singing is.

Q: What is the preaching like?

Sermons are expositional, verse-by-verse Scripture-saturated proclamations of the gospel of Jesus Christ in both the Old and New Testaments.
