PRAISE & PRAYER re: Lyndsie’s Surgery & Sale of their Home
Dear Friends and Family,
Lyndsie found out late this afternoon that she is scheduled for surgery Tuesday early afternoon to remove the plate in her leg. They will not be doing any surgery on her nerve as the test came back showing no nerve damage. She is hoping that removing the plate will still solve her nerve pain even though it is on the opposite side of her leg. Wendy will drive up to Boone tomorrow morning to be with her. Thank you for praying.
We have exciting news about our home in Waxhaw. After being on the market for exactly a week, we received a full asking price offer minus us helping with some closing costs. There is a three week due diligence time period where the buyer can back out for any reason so until we actually close, things could change. The buyers are from New York and flew down for the weekend and wanted to buy a house before they flew back to New York this evening. They want to close on our house on October 31st, so if that happens, we will start driving to Washington State that day! We are excited to move back home after being away for 25 years. I will continue to serve with Wycliffe in project funding and Wendy will be looking for a part time RN position.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10)
